Selection Procedure

A selection committee constituted by Ganesh College of Engineering will do selection of the candidate for admission through management quota (Consortium).
Based on the selection, students are admitted in the institution. The admission is purely provisional and subject to the approval from Directorate of Technical Education, Chennai / Anna University.


B.E/B.Tech Degree Programme - First Year

We admit all the students under government quota allotted through single window counselling by Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission (TNEA).
We admit the students under management quota based on the rank list published by the Association of Management of Anna University Affiliated Colleges.


B.E/B.Tech Degree Programme - Direct Second Year (Lateral Entry)

We admit all students under government quota allotted through single window counselling by, DOTE - Direct II Year Engineering Admissions.

We admit the students under management quota based on the overall percentage of marks obtained by a student from 1st Semester to 6th Semester in the full time Diploma (10+3 / 12+2) examination / B.Sc. with Mathematics at degree level or higher secondary level.

Ganesh College of Engineering was established in a well-planned campus with pollution free environment. The College were spread on a sprawling serene land and located on the Salem to Attur Main Road Mettupatti 28 Km from Namakkal, 21 Km from Salem.
